10th Grade Free Period Authorization Form
Dear Parent/Guardian and Sophomore Students:
Congratulations, you have earned a free period during your study hall if you choose. You must check in with your study hall teacher at the beginning and end of the class period. Any issues which arise will take this privilege away.
The criteria for earning a free period as a sophomore is:
• A 3.5 or higher GPA after your 3rd semester of high school
• No unexcused absences or tardies
• No ‘D’s or ‘F’s at the 6-week grading period of 2nd semester
• Good behavior standing within the school / community
If you and your parents agree to this free period, please go to the Conifer website, under the ‘Forms’ box, click on ‘Free Period Authorization Form’ and both of you need to acknowledge this approval. Sophomores can be in the Conifer High School commons, library or learning center during this time. As sophomores, they cannot leave campus. Your study hall teacher will be notified when you are able to have this free period.
