***7th GRADE STUDENTS ONLY***

We are excited that Rockford School has the opportunity to bring back 7th grade students in a cohort based on the new guidance from the State and County health officials. Safety protocols will be in place including mandatory mask wearing and plexiglass shields on the desks. Rockford wants to error on the side of caution to protect students and staff from contacting the virus and so we can remain open.

Our plan is for 7th grade students to return on campus on March 22nd. Students who will be returning will be assigned to a cohort. We are not allowed to mix staff from one cohort to another, so there will be one teacher assigned to this group who will be teaching most subjects live, with the possibility of some Zoom time with the other 7th grade teachers. Once the teachers are allowed to work with multiple groups of students, we will resume with something like our normal schedule. Initially, we will offer in person instruction from 8:00 a.m.- 11:30 a.m. Shortly after spring break, we will be lengthening the school day to about 2:00 p.m.
