Would you like to assign the honor of Opening the Ark at the beginning of the Torah Service? If so, please list two people below (one for each side of the ark). *
Would you like to assign the honors of Hagbah and Gelilah (lifting and dressing the Torah)? If so, please list two people below, one to lift and one to dress the Torah. This is a nice honor to give to a couple. *
Would you like to assign the honor of Holding the Torah after we finish reading it? If so, please list one name below. This person will sit in a chair on the bimah holding the Torah scroll during the Haftarah reading and additional prayers that happen prior to returning the Torah to the ark. This honor often goes to a young person, but it can be assigned to any Jewish person. *
Would you like to assign someone to read the Prayer for Our Country on page 177 of Siddur Lev Shalem? This prayer is read in English and can be done by non-Jewish participants. You may assign the whole prayer to one person, or you might choose to split it between two people. *
Would you like to assign someone to read the Prayer for The State of Israel on page 178 of Siddur Lev Shalem? This prayer is read either in English or Hebrew and can be done by non-Jewish participants. Please select one person for this honor. *
