In accordance with the provisions of Article 8, Paragraph 1 of the Personal Data Protection Law (hereinafter referred to as the Personal Information Law), participants participating in this event are informed of the following matters. Please be sure to read them carefully before filling in the information.
1. Unit that collects personal information: University of Nanhua (hereinafter referred to as the University) and its entrusted organizer of this activity.
2. Collection purpose: required for "overseas study" activity records.
3. Categories of personal data: department, student ID, name, email, and other information.
4. Period, area, object, and method of use of personal data:
(1) Period: the duration of the specific purpose for which personal information is collected, the retention period stipulated in relevant laws or contracts, or the retention period necessary for the school to perform its business.
(2)Region: Home country
(3) Target: the school, the school’s entrusting agency, and relevant personnel necessary for the execution of this activity.
(4) Method: using automated machines or other non-automated methods.
5. Following Article 3 of the Personal Information Law, participants in this activity understand that they may exercise the following rights concerning the personal information they provide:
Under the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Act, you may exercise your rights to the school to inquire or read, make copies, supplement or correct, stop collection, processing, or use, or delete your data held by the school. However, the school shall perform its duties by the law. If necessary, it may not be done at the request of participants of this event.
6. Impact on rights and interests caused by not providing personal information:
Participants in this event are free to choose whether to provide their personal information to the school. If they refuse to provide relevant personal information, they will not be able to participate in the event. If it is reported or the school finds that it is insufficient to confirm the authenticity of the identity of the participants in this event or other personal information has been used fraudulently, In case of misappropriation, inaccurate information, etc., the school office is unable to carry out necessary confirmation operations, and the school may stop providing services related to this activity. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
7. I hereby agree to provide personal information (department, student number, name, email) to the organizer and organizer and agree that my personal information may be collected, processed, and used for event participation, data storage and organization, mailing, taxation, and other purposes. There are no restrictions on the period, region, objects, and methods of use of personal data, and a third party may be entrusted to perform the aforementioned actions.

9. Personal data collected during overseas study will be deleted and destroyed after the data retention period is 5 years.
