We are excited you are considering being a Book Buddy at one of our six schools in the 2024-2025 school year. The program will be similar to prior years where volunteers select at least one day of the week and work with a student in a 30 minute session during the student's lunch hour.  Volunteers can volunteer to work for a 1/2 hour with one student, an hour with two different students, an hour and a half with 3 diffeent students or up to 2 hours with four different students. After registering for Book Buddies, we will send you additional information about Book Buddies training, the online background check and your school/day/time selection.  We hope you will join us as a Book Buddies volunteer.  If you have questions, you can contact Laurie Black at lblack@unitedway-cny.org.
