"Mtandao Mashinani" is a series of virtual webinars on "Building Community Networks in Kenya: Empowering Communities through Digital Inclusion" will be held to promote the growth of community networks in Kenya. The webinars aim to share best practices and experiences on establishing successful community networks, with a focus on community ownership and participation.
The first webinar series will be five sessions which will cover topics such as understanding community networks, building community networks, technical considerations, community engagement, sustainability and Licensing process and requirement for community networks.
Participating organizations will gain a deeper understanding of community networks, have the opportunity to connect with other organizations, and learn from one another. Interested organizations are invited to sign up for the webinars to learn more about community networks and how they can benefit their communities.
