This is a survey carried out by PortForward, a research project in the public interest, funded by the European Commission under Grant Agreement No 769267.
The aim of the survey is to gather the needs and expectations from all types of port stakeholders, and how these needs and expectations can be satisfied through the implementation of a 'Port of the Future' vision.
According to this vision, PortForward aims to develop a platform integrating several smart ICT-based solutions that will:
- Enable innovative information flows between port and port community
- Support the interconnection between different port systems and the integration among different modes of transport, achieving a higher level of monitoring and control of port processes
- Foster the adoption of green technologies to reduce the environmental impact of port activities.

www.portforward-project.eu The answers provided will be processed by PortForward partners in order to capture and prioritize the requirements from all stakeholders, that will constitute the basis for the development of the PortForward platform.
Data gathered through this survey will be stored for a period no longer than the expected duration of PortForward, which is planned to finalize on 31st December 2021.
