This class is designed for high school twirlers interested in learning the Twirl-O-Jack twirling style. Twirler's that take this class are not required to audition for Twirl-O-Jack. Prep class will teach many different tricks and bodywork specific to the T-O-J style that twirler's may wish to add to their competitive solos or UIL/state routines.  

For those twirler's wishing to audition for T-O-J in the spring or in the future, prep class will better prepare twirlers for Twirl-O-Jack auditions. You will learn the proper way to stretch before each practice, T-O-J style tricks and body work that will be included in the Twirl-O-Jack Audition routine. Taking this class puts you one step ahead…..don’t let audition day be the first day you are introduced to the Twirl-O-Jack twirling style!!!

This year I am offering a 4 week virtual prep class in January/February and February/March. Each week I will introduce and instruct T-O-J style tricks and teach choreographed series that will be included in the T-O-J Audition routine. These tricks and series will be taught through a private Facebook group and may be viewed at your own convenience. Each 4 week session will also include face to face classes. All members of the class will have the opportunity to sign up for private lessons with the T-O-J Coordinator. Additional fees will apply for private lessons.

Face to face class - Sunday, January 29, 2023, 2pm-4pm, SFA Band Hall ($30 if not enrolled in the Virtual Class)

Virtual Prep Class begins Monday, February 20, 2023 - Friday, March 17, 2023
Face to face class - Sunday, February 26, 2023, 2pm-4pm, SFA Band Hall ($30 if not enrolled in the Virtual Class)
