We are so excited that you are going to be joining us on April 13th at Kenyon College for the 3rd Annual Community Climate Conference brought to you by IntersectECO. This will be an awesome time of networking, collaborative learning, and growing together as a community, all around the theme of Environmental Justice. We ask that you make a $10 contribution towards this event. If you are unable to cover the cost, please fill out our scholarship form at the end of this poll. Please register by April 1st.

Keynotes: Melina Abdullah and Justin Hoseby

Professor Abdullah was among the original organizers for the #BlackLivesMatter movement and is currently the Los Angeles chapter leader. Professor Abdullah is a womanist scholar-activist, understanding the role that she plays in the academy as intrinsically linked to broader struggles for the liberation of oppressed people.

Justice Hoseby is a sociocultural anthropologist, interdisciplinary ethnographer, and Black studies scholar. Broadly, his intellectual work is interested in the ways that Black Americans have resisted anti-Black violence from the beginnings of racial slavery through its afterlife!

We are so excited for their contributions and insights to the intersections of environmental justice!
