During this season of Lent, when we reflect on our own need for mercy and healing, join us for a free series of virtual community discussions on the criminal justice system. This webinar series will provide understanding of the workings of our criminal justice system and explore steps we can take to increase equity in its practice.

Presentations will be offered on the following dates:
-Saturday, February 27th from 10-11:30am: The Criminal Justice System: How Does it Work? Associate Circuit Judge John F. Newsham
-Saturday, March 6th from 10-11:30am: Prosecutors and Public Defenders with Prosecutor Wesley Bell, Public Defenders Beverly Hauber and Matthew Mahaffey.
-Saturday, March 13th from 10-11:30am: Local Efforts for Criminal Justice Reform with the ACLU and Metropolitan Congregations United
-Saturday, March 20th from 10-11:30am: Legislative Response for Criminal Justice with State Rep. Shamed Dogan and State Sen. Brian Williams
This series is presented through the collaboration of St. Alphonsus Liguori “Rock” Church, St. Francis Xavier “College” Church, and Campus Ministry at Saint Louis University.
