Kult Books will open a physical bookstore in Stockholm’s Södermalm in late September. We hope the space will become a hub for photobook enthusiasts in Stockholm, hosting events, talks, book launches, and exhibitions. The bookshop will feature not only Kult Books titles, but also a selection of titles from other artists and publishers. If you would like your book to be considered, please submit it by filling this form.
All photobooks are welcomed, although we are especially interested in independent productions and self-published books. The form is intended for artists or publishers, as we prefer working directly with them rather than through distributors.
One book per submission. If you’d like to submit multiple titles, simply fill out a separate form for each. Please submit books that already exists, no forthcoming titles. If your submission is successful, we’ll be in touch with you via email.
Quick terms:
-Books are sold on consignment — 40% to Kult Books (seller) and 60% to the Artist/Publisher.
-Consignment period: 1 year.
-A sales report will be provided to the Artist/Publisher when the consignment period ends or when the received number of copies has been sold. After this, the Artist/Publisher may invoice Kult Books for sales.
-The Artist/Publisher covers the shipping costs to the bookshop. Return shipment is negotiable — for example, delivery to a book fair where Kult Books is participating can be covered by Kult Books.
