Advanced Clowning (by invitation): Saturdays, 9 - 10 a.m.
A great class focusing on creating your individual clown character with costume and prop development. Physical comedy includes mime, hat tricks, object manipulation and slapstick. Students develop new clown pieces and recreate classic clown routines. Students will be featured in the 2019 Youth Circus Extravaganza, must be enrolled in Advanced Circus Ensemble. Taught by Steve Roenker.
Beginning Unicycle: Saturdays, 9 - 10 a.m. Ages 7+
An introductory class to both unicycle and gym wheel including wheel safety, belt tricks and partner work. Focus will be on becoming comfortable in the wheel and learning to ride a unicycle. No previous experience required! Please bring a helmet and close toed shoes. Taught by Jesse AlFord. See information about discounts below.
Beginning Circus Arts: Saturdays, 10 - 11 a.m. Ages 7 - 13
This beginning class teaches the basic skills every circus performer needs to know. Students learn to balance on the wire and rolling globe and rola bola, walk on stilts and the basics of juggling. They will also learn how to hoop and explore the art of clowning through games. A prerequisite class for Advanced Circus Ensemble. Taught by Natalie Roenker. See information about discounts below.
Intermediate Unicycle: Saturdays, 10 - 11 a.m.
Open to all unicyclists who can ride comfortably and free mount. Time will be split between individual skills and group routines. It is recommended that students bring their own unicycle. Helmets are required until proficient in free mounting and idling. Taught by Jesse AlFord. Permission by instructor. See information about discounts below.
Intermediate Circus Ensemble: Saturdays, 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. (lunch 12 - 12:30 p.m.)
Intermediate Circus Ensemble students will be the featured performers of the 2019 Youth Circus Extravaganza. For students 9 - 12, must, have completed Beginning Circus class and have permission of instructor. Class focuses on creating an ensemble of rising circus performers through circus games, trust through partner acrobatics, strength through circus conditioning and coordination through object manipulation. Class includes wire-walking, balance, acrobatics, jump roping, hooping, clowning, and act development. In addition to the 2019 Youth Circus Extravaganza, this class includes performance opportunities. Taught by Staff. Fee included in Advanced Circus Ensemble bundle.
Advanced Unicycle: Saturdays, 11 - 12 noon
This class will focus on complex group tricks and routines (such as backwards follow the leader), with some time on individual skills. Riders must be able to free mount, idle (idling on both feet preferred), and ride backwards comfortably. Permission by instructor. Must be enrolled in Advanced Circus Ensemble. Taught by Jesse AlFord. Fee included in Advanced Circus Ensemble bundle.
Advanced Circus Ensemble : Saturdays, 12:30 - 2:30 p.m.
Advance Circus Ensemble students will be the featured performers of the 2019 Youth Circus Extravaganza. Must be 12+, have completed Beginning/Intermediate Circus and have permission of instructor. Class focuses on creating an ensemble of rising circus performers through circus games, trust through partner acrobatics, strength through circus conditioning and coordination through object manipulation. Class includes wire-walking, balance, acrobatics, jump roping, hooping, clowning, and act development. In addition to the 2019 Youth Circus Extravaganza, this class includes performance opportunities. Taught by Staff. Fee included in Advanced Circus Ensemble bundle.
Circus Youth in Action - Creative Youth Leadership Development Program: Saturdays, 2:30 - 3:30 p.m.
Must be 13+ by Oct. 1, 2018 and a member of the Advance Circus Ensemble. Advanced training, specialized skills, assistant coach training and performance act development. Additional performance opportunities. Taught by Staff. No fee.

Advanced Aerials: Sundays, 1- 2 p.m. Open to Advanced Circus Ensemble members only with permission of instructor.
Giraffe Unicycle for Intermediate and Advanced Unicycle Students: 1 - 2 p.m.
Come and learn how to ride a 5' unicycle! Must be at the intermediate or advanced level. 8 student limit.
Jesse's Circus Boot Camp *open to members of the Advanced Circus Ensemble only - 2 - 5 p.m.
Intermediate Aerial Silks: Sundays, 2 - 3 p.m. Ages 7+
Learn how to string basic tricks together into sequences and begin working on inversions. Must be able to climb to the top of the silks and wrap a footlock on your own. Limit six per class. .
Adult Aerial Class: Sundays, 3 - 4 p.m.
Learn the basic aerial silk. Includes strength conditioning. Limit six per class.
Beginning/Intermediate Aerials: Sundays, 4 - 5 p.m.
Learn how to climb, how to stand in a footlock, do basic tricks, and learn new tricks. Include strength conditioning with the silks. Limit six per class.
Open Juggling for Youth and Adults: Sundays, 4 - 5 p.m.
Come to Open Juggling for a chance to practice your juggling, diabolo, hooping, and other manipulation arts. Our props will be available for use, and an instructor will be there to help out. This is not a structured class, but is instead an open facilitated practice. Open to all who share a love of juggling!
Intermediate/Advanced German Wheel, Wednesdays and/or Thursdays, January 23 - April 11, 2019. *No Class March 27 & 28, 2019
