    About the quiz

The Quiz is based on the mandatory readings below. The purpose of administering this quiz is to ensure that all HAPPY volunteers have carefully reviewed the following literature before they conduct blood pressure screenings. Please do not simply skim the articles for multiple-choice answers and/or copy and paste sections for short answer questions. It is crucial for all HAPPY volunteers to possess sound knowledge of hypertension in order to serve the community in a professional and helpful manner. Failure to review these readings may lead to inefficient and even harmful practices from HAPPY volunteers. Remember, however your good intentions are, without thorough preparation your service may lead to undesirable outcomes. Mandatory Reading List http://www.medicinenet.com/high_blood_pressure_hypertension/article.htm (PLEASE READ PAGES 2-9 CAREFULLY) http://www.nhlbi.nih.gov/health/health-topics/topics/hbp/ http://my.clevelandclinic.org/disorders/Hypertension_High_Blood_Pressure/hic_High_Blood_Pressure_and_Nutrition.aspx The HAPPY board will grade and follow up on your quiz. Once you have passed, you will be eligible to attend a training session and sign up for a shift.
