The mission of Re-Versed is to provide alternative settings for writers to get their work out there, participate with the community, as well as, branch out from the predominant Open Mic settings in town; that seem to be the only available opportunity for local poets to share their work with the community on a regular basis.

The name Re-Versed came to be through the vision that we can Re-Define, Re-Imagine and Re-Verse the negative connotations that some forms of poetry have become recognized as; to both the average person, and various types of poets.

Our goal is to unify the poets of Wichita, and find ways to create unique and interesting poetry opportunities for the community.
