Overview of the 2026 Summer Learning Programs

Danville Public Schools offers a variety of summer programs to support academic development, credit recovery, educational enrichment, and school readiness. See the options below, organized by grade level, to find the best fit for your child.

High school programs 

• 9th and 10th Grade Credit Recovery, Asynchronous through Edgenuity

Specific academic support (from kindergarten to eighth grade)

• Summer Academy K–8 (Acceleration) June 29–July 23 (Monday–Thursday) | 8:30 am–3:30 pm Locations: Arnett Hills:  students from Arnett Hills, Gibson, Park Ave;  Schoolfield: students from Schoolfield, Forest Hills, Woodberry; and  Bonner: students from Bonner, Westwood.
  
  

• Extended School Year (ESY) – For students with IEPs, June 29 to July 23 (Monday-Thursday) | 8:30–11:30 am Location: Arnett Hills. Contact your school teacher for additional information.

Early Learning (Preschool) REGISTRATION CLOSED

• Kindergarten (PK4) Readiness Program – School Readiness July 13-23 (Monday-Thursday) | 8:30 am to 3:30 pm Location: Arnett Hills
