Trinity has been going on this weekend for over 50 years. Children always leave wanting to know how long it is until next time. Many of our Trinity young adults have made lifetime friends from attending when they were young children (and they still look forward to the weekend each year).

What is the Parish Weekend? Our Labor Day weekend at Cathedral Domain, the Diocese of Lexington’s camp and conference center, is a chance to get to know your parish family, make new friends, renew old friendships, and get away from your normal routine. All ages are welcome; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

It is a weekend for you to do anything you like. In addition to a Eucharist, there are various scheduled activities, such as Evening Prayer, Tai Chi, meditation groups, a softball game, and several hikes; you can choose which of these, if any, you would like to attend. You may hike, swim, play volleyball, softball, or cornhole, read, sleep, work on your favorite craft, sit, talk, play board games, play music, or meditate. You don’t have to cook; meals are provided in the dining hall—you only have to stand in line, pick up your food, and then return your dishes.

There are various types of accommodations, with different costs for each location. The conference center has private rooms for one or two people. Camp Moody has cabins with or without air conditioning; the cabins hold from 3 to 17 people. We will help you choose a place to stay; special needs will be considered in your placement. Camp Moody - Air conditioned ($80 per adult per night and $45 per child (ages 5 - 11) per night.

Adults Only - Conference Center Double Occupancy ($90 per adult per night)

Adults Only - Conference Center Single Occupancy ($110 per single adult per night)
