We Shall Read - Volunteer Application
A We Shall Read volunteer is someone who dedicates their time to supporting children's literacy by teaching parents and other adults tools they can use to help children, teens and adults grow their reading skills regardless of their ability or background (including English language learners). 

We have many exciting volunteer opportunities this summer for adults and supervised teens at places like Detroit PAL (daytime) , Freedom House building for women and children (evening) , in partnership with Detroit River Conservancy (daytime) and at the Dearborn Public Library (daytime).  

Once your application is processed, you will meet with the WSR Volunteer Director, complete a short training to learn what to do and how to do it, and have the opportunity to sign up for places (days/times) that fit your schedule.
