Title I Needs Assessment Parent Survey
Cherokee Public Schools needs stakeholder input on what areas our Federal Title I funding would be most beneficial for our students for the 2020-2021 school year. Please place a check next to 3 areas of concern.
The Program Should:
Target improving achievement of eligible students identified as having the greatest need for special assistance
communication between school, parents, and community members is consistently regular, two-way, and meaningful.
Provide materials and training to help Title I parents work with their children to improve their children's achievement.
Strategies to build student vocabularies.
Coordinate classroom skills with computer programs that are designed to accelerate student learning.
Supportive Mathematics Instruction
Tutoring after school for students not meeting academic standards
Supportive Reading Instruction
Provide extended learning time, such as extended school year, before and/or after school programs for low performing students.
Faculty and staff set high expectations for all students.
