Campus Compact EnviroCorps (CCEC) is the first nationwide AmeriCorps program dedicated to campus-based, community-led environmental stewardship efforts. Overseen by Campus Compact, a coalition of colleges and universities dedicated to advancing the public purposes of higher education and civic engagement, CCEC works with colleges, universities, and their community partners to conduct basic home energy assessments, organize and lead nature conservation projects, and implement community environmental education events in local communities. Combined, these activities help increase home energy efficiency, cost savings and comfort; advance the health and well-being of our natural environment; and increase knowledge and motivation to make a positive difference for the planet.

Campus Compact EnviroCorps Connecticut (CCEC CT) is a statewide AmeriCorps Connecticut program, administered through Campus Compact, and is dedicated to community-led environmental action throughout Connecticut. For the 2025-2026 service year, a projected 40 AmeriCorps members will be leveraged by higher education institutions and their community partners to lead in advancing the EnviroCorps CT program areas of Energy Efficiency, Nature Conservation, and Community Education through local solutions. CCEC CT members will also implement projects in Connecticut communities that promote nature conservation and leverage local volunteers to support CCEC CT's environmental stewardship activities.

AmeriCorps members receive a biweekly stipend and, upon successful completion of their service term, a Segal Education Award that can be used pay off qualified student loans and/or towards future education. Stipend and Award amounts vary depending on the type of AmeriCorps position (Full-Time, Half-Time, Minimum-Time).

As of April 2025: CCEC CT is currently accepting interest forms for the 2025-2026 service year, which runs from late September 2025 through late August 2026.
