Summer Junior Counselor Application
APPLICATION DEADLINE: April 4, 2020
STC is now seeking teenagers who are interested in assisting during our summer workshops. Junior Counselors will lead warm-ups, participate in demonstrations, and assist the teachers in coaching students through a variety of scenes and exercises. In addition to gaining leadership skills and learning specifics about both acting and directing, Junior Counselors will also receive STC credit equal to the registration fee for the camp they are working. This credit can be used towards another camp, club nights, or participation fees for STC shows.
– Must have experience with STC shows or camps.
– Must have significant theatrical experience.
– Must be entering 9th grade or higher in the fall of 2020.

Please indicate all workshops in which you are interested. Each Junior Counselor will only assist with one workshop. Please check your schedule with your parents before applying. It is important that you only indicate interest in a workshop for which you will be available.
Drama Exploration: Marti & The Mango (M-F June 15-19, entering grades 1-3, 9 am-noon). STC Credit: $90
Introduction to Theater: Tacky The Penguin (M-F June 22-26, grades 3-5). STC Credit: $180
Acting I: The Boy Who Cried Wolf (M-F July 6-10, grades 4-6). STC Credit: $180
Musical Theater I: The Aristocats (M-F July 20-24 AND 2pm performance Sat. July 25, grades 5-7). STC Credit: $180
Acting II: Check It Out (M-F August 3-7, grades 5-8). STC Credit: $180
