Earth Fest is the signature event of the Iron Range Partnership for Sustainability, celebrating local traditions and practical resources for sustainable living; tapping the knowledge of our region with local experts to share their expertise through exhibits, presentations and demonstrations. Emphasis is placed on local products, local services, local foods, local traditions, and our local wilderness.
IRPS facilitates collaboration towards a sustainable and thriving Iron Range. IRPS is dedicated to maintaining and improving the economic, environmental and social characteristics of our area so that our residents can continue to lead healthy, productive and enjoyable lives here. IRPS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation.
This past year, IRPS partnered with the IRRR to look at local food as an economic driver for the taconite assistance area. We are pleased to showcase the results of this study for Earth Fest 2019, as we build our local food network and feed the future of our Iron Range region. Take a look at our website, and you will find a link to the local food study to learn more. www.irpsmn.org
