As established by our bylaws, all parents/guardians with a student enrolled at 75 Morton and 75 Morton teachers are automatically members of the MS 297 Parent Teacher Association. 

This survey is to help us get a sense of what our community preferences are in terms of meetings and events. Thank you for taking the time to respond to this survey.

Monthly PTA Meeting - Zoom Time
The monthly PTA meeting is an opportunity for families and teachers to hear from the principal, School Leadership Team and PTA about what is currently happening at the school, how the money collected by the PTA is being used, and what volunteer opportunities are available from various committees. Per the Chancellor's regulations Middle School meetings are always held on a Wednesday. Ideally the meetings would run one hour though can run over due to discussion.

Community Building: We try to offer events for families and teachers to get to know one another in a social setting. Past initiatives include a Mix & Mingle, Friendsgiving Pie & Cider, and in the future, potlucks.

Student Events: Fright Night, Snow Ball, Spring Fling (Grade-wide Events)
These events are held on a school day after hours. What day(s) work best for you in order to help set up, chaperone, or feel okay with your child attending after school hours?
75 Morton relies on monetary donations raised by the PTA in order to provide additional programming and supplies that the NYC Department of Education does not provide. In order to streamline communication please indicate how you prefer to donate money to support the school:
