Serving the Board is a rewarding experience and an opportunity to help contribute to the ongoing success and growth of the organization. Completing this form will help you understand the skills, time, and resource commitments of the leadership position.

This application will be kept confidential. Applications are used by the Board's Nominating Committee to identify and evaluate potential Board candidates. All new Board members are elected by majority vote of current Board members.

Board Member Requirements
  1. The minimum term will be two years and there is no lifetime maximum of served terms. The Board will vote at each Annual meeting to retain Board members that have reached their two-year term to extend to another two years.

  2. Board members will perform their duties with the best interest of the organization in mind, void of personal or interests of others that may conflict with the best interest of the organization.

  3. There will be a minimum of four regular meetings of the Board of Directors per calendar year. Additional regular meetings may be called by the Chair, as appropriate. Meetings may be held in person, via phone, or via other technology. Board members may not miss. ore than two consecutive regular meetings in on year. If a Board member does not meet this requirement, they may be removed from the Board.

  4. Board members shall not receive compensation for their services.

  5. Board members will make a serious commitment to participate actively in Bounce's work. They will stay informed on the organization's matters, prepare and attend meetings, participate through committee work and organizational events, and overall contribute to the needs of the organization. Board members dedicate their time, energy, and resources to be an active member to support the mission of Bounce Animal Rescue.
