Wheeler KIDS Crit Waiver for the 2025 Season
Please read the waiver in its entirety.  Your typed name will serve as your signature.

I do hereby assume full responsibility for any and all damages, injuries (including death), or losses that I may sustain or incur, if any while attending, engaging, practicing, participating, or witnessing activity and/or certain event(s) occurring in or about the premises or at any offsite location. I hereby assume full risk, waive all claims, and release and hold Wheeler District, Wheeler District Association, and Wheeler Community Foundation. THE WHEELER CRITERIUM / DNA RACING, CYCLES FOR LIFE, BIKE CLUB OKC, AND ITS BOARD ,Capitol Co-Op Capitol Cooperative individually or otherwise, harmless for any and all liability, claims, suits, damages, expenses, fees, actions, or rights of action or judgments as a result of injury or death to myself or members of my family or heirs, or my guests, or damage, destruction or loss to my property, which in any way relates to, arises out of, or is in any way connected with my presence on the premises, or my participation in events of activities thereon, or the negligent acts or omissions of the releases or any other third party.

I agree to wear all protective equipment required while participating in the activity, and I am fully aware and understand that  Wheeler District, Wheeler District Association, and Wheeler Community Foundation.THE WHEELER CRITERIUM / DNA RACING, CYCLES FOR LIFE, BIKE CLUB OKC, AND ITS BOARD ,Capitol Co-Op Capitol Cooperative does not have on or about the premises, or employ or contract with any medical services, provisions for ordinary or emergency medical services.

In consideration of my participation in and the use of  Wheeler District, Wheeler District Association, and Wheeler Community Foundation. THE WHEELER CRITERIUM / DNA RACING, CYCLES FOR LIFE, BIKE CLUB OKC, AND ITS BOARD ,Capitol Co-Op Capitol Cooperative premises or facilities, I hereby release and covenant not to sue the owner of the premises (releases), shareholders, directors, officers, employees, representatives, agents, affiliates and lessees from any and all claims resulting from any physical injury that may occur to me while participating in any program or event sponsored by  Wheeler District, Wheeler District Association, and Wheeler Community Foundation. The 2025 Wheeler Crit season will have 3 races. 
Tuesday, April 8, 2025- Races begin at 5:15
Tuesday, May 13, 2025- Races begin at 5:15
Tuesday, August 12, 2025 -Races begin at 5:15

PLEASE SHOW YOUR EMAIL RECEIPT FOR REGISTRATION AT THE WHEELER KIDS CRIT TABLE/ BIKE CLUB OKC. 
 AFTER SHOWING YOUR EMAIL RECEIPT, YOUR CHILD WILL BE GIVEN A RACE PLATE (PARTICIPANT #) TO AFFIX TO THE FRONT OF THE BIKE

We will offer TWO race options
SHORT COURSE RACE - (5 - 7 Min) Strider Bikes, Training Wheels & Beginner Riders ONLY
LONG COURSE RACE - (18 - 20 Min) Advanced Riders ONLY (No strider bikes or training wheels)

Racers will line up and when the starter says, "GO!" the clock starts.  Racers will follow the official course and follow the following rules:

Maintain your line & keep left unless overtaking

Do not change direction suddenly

 Do not overlap wheels

 Communicate your intentions with others

 Keep both hands on the bars (unless taking a drink)

 Follow all directions from marshals and officials
