YPAC members are young professionals in San Francisco who are dedicated to supporting Family House through volunteering, fundraising and advocacy. To foster a strong relationship between members and Family House, members are expected to:
- Volunteer for Family House at the House and at events - Attend 10/12 monthly meetings - Assist with planning and attend two major YPAC fundraisers - Donate and solicit donations - Join a committee within YPAC and contribute to YPAC activities
For members who want to take on additional responsibilities, there are leadership opportunities within YPAC as well as Chair and Co-chair positions to manage larger YPAC events. Members are expected to participate in YPAC for a minimum term of one year. Family House YPAC accepts new member applications in late fall and brings in new members in September-November each year. Over the rest of the year, we invite interested young professionals to attend and volunteer at our events to learn more about how we support Family House.
