2021 California Association for the Gifted Conference Call for Presentations
Proposal submissions must respond to adult learning theory. Submissions should be interactive, engaging the audience in a participatory experience. Attendees should be active participants throughout the presentation, responding to the speaker, discussing in groups, or engaging in activities that are aligned to the presentation topic. Presentations that are lecture dominant are discouraged.
Your submission should be free of grammatical and spelling errors. To review more information regarding the criteria for submission, please view the 2021 Call for Presentations Criteria at:
Each presentation proposal may be submitted for only one strand division and may not be submitted multiple times. The CAG Presentation Review Panel will determine the division strand that best matches the presentation proposal.
If accepted, your presentation could be scheduled anywhere from Saturday morning starting at 8:00 a.m. to Sunday at 1:00 p.m. Please plan accordingly.
REGISTERING FOR THE CONFERENCE:
Submission of your presentation proposal does NOT enroll you as a CAG member or automatically register you for the conference itself. If your presentation proposal is accepted for presentation at the annual conference, you must then register for the conference as a speaker and pay the conference fee, which will be discounted 50%.
PROPOSALS ARE DUE BY JUNE 1, 2020.
Have you already submitted a proposal to CAG for the 2021 Conference?
