The Aquila Team - Student Application Form (2026)
Welcome, future explorer! This is the official application form to join The Aquila Team, the youth astronomy and space sciences research team at the 46 North Astronomy Center.
The Aquila Team is a hands-on program for dedicated middle and high school students (grades 7-12) in the Northwoods region who have a passion for science and discovery. No prior astronomy or space sciences research experience is necessary—just curiosity and a commitment to learn.
Please complete all required sections of this form with a parent or guardian. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis. Selected applicants will be contacted for a brief interview within a week or two of submission of a completed form.
Students under 18 should discuss this interest with their parents/guardians prior to filling out this form.
Students in
Northern Wisconsin will be given the opportunity to participate on-site at the 46 North Astronomy Center upon acceptance into the program.
During this first phase, we are currently not able to accept remote students.
