Join us in November to discuss “Towards an AI Accountability Policy.” This white paper was co-written by UMass Amherst faculty and students in response to the “AI Accountability Policy Request for Comments” by the National Telecommunications and Information Administration of the United States. It offers a set of interconnected recommendations for an AI accountability policy.

We'll have two opportunities to discuss this white paper: first over Zoom in an informal "book club"-like discussion, then in person joined by Nicholas Perello, UMass Amherst grad student and one of the co-authors. He’ll be focusing on the white paper’s discussion of fairness and explainability in AI policy making.
