Thank you for your interest in submitting to the Metro East Youth Art Show. If you are an Art Teacher submitting on behalf of multiple students, then please download and complete this Teacher Submission Form instead.

The art show will be held at the Leu Civic Center and Mascoutah Public Library on Saturday, April 26th from 10:00am until 2:00pm. The art show is open to any student Pre-K through grade 12 who reside in the Metro East area. The grades 6-8 and grades 9-12 age groups are judged with an overall best in show along with awards of excellence and merit. There will also be a people’s choice award for each group. Submissions will remain open until 6:00pm on April 18th or until we reach the limit of our space, whichever comes first.

Maximum size for two-dimensional pieces is 16” x 20”, including matting and frame. We will make 1”-2” allowance for a 16”x20” frame. Work must be framed or on a hangable canvas and ready to hang with a wire or sawtooth hanger. Three-Dimensional pieces must be able to be displayed on a tabletop, and ready for display. Larger pieces must be reviewed by the Show Director prior to approval. If a work has multiple components, its entry must be reviewed by the Show Director. View full Submission Guidelines.

Entry items for grades 6 — 8 and grades 9 — 12 age groups must arrive at the Leu Civic Center Wednesday April 23th between 11:00am and 8:00pm or Thursday, April 24th between 11:00am and 8:00pm. No other drop off times will be available.

Show pieces must be picked up and signed out, by the entrant or guardian only, April 26th 2:00-3:00pm.
