Thank you for your interest in the Y Sport: Greater Purpose & Performance Camp!
Join us at Brigham Young University (BYU) on May 30–31, 2025, for a transformative weekend centered on faith, character, and purpose in sport. Hosted by the Strong Youth Project, this camp is designed primarily to help high school athletes deepen their spiritual foundation, develop moral character, and explore how their identity in sport can be rooted in something greater than performance.
At the heart of the camp are dynamic workshops led by BYU faculty and students and faculty and graduate students from Baylor University’s Truett Sports Ministry Program, who will guide participants in reflecting on their relationship with God, the moral dimensions of sport, and how to lead with purpose on and off the field. Through small group discussions and faith-based mentoring, athletes will be encouraged to see sport as a vehicle for service, integrity, and growth.
To complement this faith-centered foundation, the camp also offers sessions with top professionals in sports medicine, exercise science, nutrition, and sports psychology. These experts will provide practical tools for injury prevention, performance enhancement, and mental wellness—designed not as ends in themselves, but as supports for living out one’s faith and purpose with excellence.
