ELIGIBLE APPLICANTSIndividual teachers, departments, staff, and administrators in the St. Louis Park Public School District, as well as collaborative groups among them, may apply.
GRANT AWARD AMOUNTSDepartments and groups of teachers and/or staff/administrators may apply for up to a $10,000 school grant. Individual teachers, staff, and administrators may apply for grants up to $3,000.
PROJECT FOCUSYour project request must focus on one of four core areas: Math & Science, Reading, the Arts, or Transitions Between or Within Schools.
CRITERIA FOR ACCEPTANCEYour grant application will be judged based on alignment to the Foundation mission and focus, benefit/merit to teaching and learning, and clarity. More information about our mission is available at http://www.slppsf.org/about.html.
DECISIONSThe SLP Public Schools Foundations Board selects grant recipients after receiving a report from the Grants Committee. All decisions are final.
NOTIFICATIONApplicants will be notified via e-mail by Saturday, June 30, 2019, if their proposal has been accepted or not and what the grant amount is.

TECHNOLOGYIf the grant proposal includes a technology platform (iPads, e-readers, etc.), it is the responsibility of the grant applicant to consider whether or not the platform is supported by the district’s IT professionals and infrastructure. If it is not, it will be the responsibility of the grant applicant to provide support for the platform on his/her own.
GRANT RECIPIENT RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Present grant results at the SLP Public Schools Foundation Grant Share Celebration on April 17, 2020.
* Record a 3-5 minute video describing the benefits of the Foundation grant to students in your classroom or school.
* Complete a brief, electronic written report of project, including factual data of expenditures, outcomes, testimonials from students/parents/community members, and benefits to students, by April 15, 2020.
* Submit an electronic poster that includes the name of the grant, photos, quotable quotes and a one sentence description of the grant. The photos of the project should focus on students. Be sure that you have documented photo release permission. The Foundation may use the poster on its web page and/or other publicity events.
