"Community Cats" is a term used to describe outdoor, unowned, free-roaming cats. These can be friendly or feral cats. A community cat caretaker is an individual (or group of individuals) who manage one or more groups (colonies) of cats in a community. The caretaker keeps an eye on the cats, provides them food, water shelter and oversees their general wellbeing.
American Canyon Community Cats would like to create a CONFIDENTIAL database and provide support and resources to the colony caretakers of our city. This will allow us to track the number of community cats still needing TNR (trap-neuter-return) in our city.
