NILOA membership application
New Member Application

This form is for officials who are not currently NILOA members, but would like to tryout to officiate at the collegiate level.

By filling out this form, I hereby apply for membership in the National Intercollegiate Lacrosse Officials Association.

Experience Requirements:

- At least three years high school varsity experience
- HS play-off experience (preferably semi-finals/finals)
- Experience with three-man mechanics
- Successful experience at the club level
- Club or Post-Collegiate Club experience

If your application is selected and you are invited to attend a tryout, you agree to:

- Pay a tryout fee of $100. Bring check made payable to NILOA to your tryout.
- Complete a successful on-field evaluation

Following a successful on-field evaluation, you agree to complete all of the following requirements to become an active NILOA official:

- Completed Application
- Two letters of Recommendation from current NILOA Members
- Score better than 80% on the NCAA rules test administered online by NILOA
- Active USA Lacrosse Membership as an official
- Payment of initial provisional member fee ($225) made online after being added to the member roster; includes a NILOA Short Sleeve, Long Sleeve and NILOA Jacket with their assigned NILOA #.

I also understand that acceptance of my membership is subject to the discretion of the Membership Chair, local district leadership, and the NILOA Executive Board.
