TC Athletics Return to Play Survey
The T.C. Williams Athletic Department is working with some of our coaches who would like to volunteer their time to start outside conditioning days for our athletes. We would be implementing safety guidelines offered by the National Federation of High Schools, Virginia High School League, Alexandria Health Department, ACPS and the CDC. In order to follow proper guidelines these conditioning days would be for a limited amount of athletes and would start with only a few athletes who were on teams last season. These conditioning days would start after school starts sometime in September. In order to do this we are polling the parents of athletes to gather information so that it can be used to make our final decision on when and if we will host these conditioning days.

In order to insure the safety and well-being of our athletes and coaches this plan has been approved by the Alexandria Health Department, Virginia Department of Education and ACPS. Before we start our conditioning days we wanted to ask our parents their thoughts on hosting voluntary conditioning days for our athletes.

Here are a some of the health guidelines and safety protocols we will be following if we start conditioning days: Outside Only, Mandatory Temperature Checks, Mandatory Pre-Screening questions that must be answered everyday, No sharing of equipment, 10ft social distance guideline, Limited numbers of athletes at any given session, Mandatory wearing of mask when physical conditioning is not taken place, Mandatory for each athlete to have their own water bottle, Mandatory Health Insurance and Mandatory physicals.
