ADDRESS/HOUSE/FIRE NUMBER APPLICATION PROCESS

If your property in located on a state highway an application needs to be filed with the WI Department of Transportation for approval, prior to filing with Adams County Treasurer.

If your property is located on a County Road an application needs to be filed with the Adams County Highway Department for approval, prior to filing with Adams County Treasurer.

One should contact your local municipality to see if they have a policy/application form. (There are a handful that require one). Any fees/costs inquiries associated for a fire sign should be directed at the town level.

Once those are checked off, you would apply with the County through their application form. Please enclose/attach copies of any signed approval forms required above, if there are any, along with your County application.

By filling this form out, you are requesting a new or replacement house number. You can be charged by the township for a Fire sign. Contact your township for the amount of each Fire sign.
