Direct Support Personnel (DSP) Key Responsibilities: Assist individuals with disabilities in daily activities and skill development. Accompany and support participants in community outings, volunteer work, and recreational activities. Teach and reinforce skills such as communication, self-care, money management, and social interaction. Implement IPP plans and provide positive reinforcement. Ensure the safety and well-being of participants at all times, following all health and emergency protocols. Maintain daily data records, progress notes, and incident reports as required by the program and regulatory agencies. Work as part of a team with supervisors, therapists, and family members to support each participant’s goals. Background check and fingerprinting will be required. CPR certification is mandatory for all staff. Starting Salary beginning at $20 per hour with $1.00 raise after 90 days.
