Created by a woman for women by Beth Alcazar, USCCA Associate Editor and Senior Training Counselor, Women’s Handgun and Self-Defense Fundamentals is a welcoming and engaging training course with multiple layers of instruction.
We will be presenting “Women’s Handgun and Self-Defense Fundamentals Level One: Women’s Basic Pistol.” This course is designed for the beginner shooter (or a refresher to those who have a void in their practice) through those who are ready to learn more about defensive shooting and take the next step with their firearms skills, tools, and mindset.
The fundamentals of shooting will be introduced, reviewed, and built upon, while also exploring universal safety rules, common types of handguns, ammunition types, marksmanship skills, etc. Specifically, Women’s Handgun and Self-Defense Fundamentals is all about sharing the basics—along with the fun, the seriousness, and the importance of being a responsibly armed female.
The course includes the following:
“Women’s Handgun and Self Defense Fundamentals" book by Beth Alcazar
Florida non resident CCW permit information, fingerprint cards, and guidance though process
**If you have a restricted NY permit this class will help with amending to unrestricted**
Please bring the following:
Semi Automatic Pistol or a Revolver (rentals available)
Propper Caliber Ammunition for your Firearm - 50 Rounds (Ammunition is Available for Purchase)
Eye & Ear Protection
Propper Attire: Long Pants, Sneakers/Hiking Shoes, cap, No Low Cut Shirts,
Pen and Notepad
