The 48th Annual Bayou Classic -- 2021 Media Credentials Application

Thank you for your interest in the 48th Annual Bayou Classic. In order to apply for media credentials to one and/or both the Bayou Classic game and Greek Show/Battle of the Bands, you must fully complete the form below. The deadline for submission is Monday, October 25, 2021. Any application submitted after that date will not be accepted.

Please note that submission of the form does not constitute approval of credentials and/or ability to attend events. All applications will be reviewed and acceptance/admission is only obtained through approval correspondence that will come at a later date.

There is a limitation on the number of credentials allowed. The restriction is to ensure fair distribution and to ensure that only legitimate members of the media are granted credential access. Per NCAA and SWAC Guidelines, the press area is restricted to only members of the working media. No children are allowed at any time. Misuse of the privilege of a media credential could result in immediate removal from the press box and revocation of future press credential requests. Person(s) applying for credentials must be an accredited media member and will be verified by Grambling and/or Southern’s sports information department as working media.

Approval of media credentials through either Grambling and/or Southern’s sports information department, does not constitute approval of credentials for the Bayou Classic. Also any and all past approvals does not constitute automatic approvals for this year’s Bayou Classic.

Media credentials are provided to an individual, not an organization. Therefore, an application must be submitted for EACH INDIVIDUAL, NOT EACH MEDIA ORGANIZATION (ex. Writer must submit an application individually, and the writer’s photographer must submit an application individually).

While not all questions are required for submission, the more information provided the better.
