Special Advisory Council Application
IThank you for your interest in joining the Cayman Islands Centre for Business Development (CICBD) Special Advisory Council (SAC). This initiative is an integral part of the CICBD's commitment to fostering the growth of micro and small businesses, which play a vital role in boosting our economy and creating employment opportunities.

The SAC is a volunteer-based council designed to provide professional guidance and support to entrepreneurs who may not otherwise have access to such expertise. As a member, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping local business owners navigate challenges, refine their strategies, and achieve sustainable growth. Your insights and expertise can empower small business owners to overcome barriers in areas such as compliance, market expansion, and financial management.

Key Details:
  • Time Commitment: Members are asked to contribute 3–4 hours per month, for up to four 45-minute advisory sessions. Participation in our quarterly Growth Club event is also encouraged.
  • Membership Term: Members will serve a 1-year term, with the possibility of renewal.
  • Volunteer Basis: This is a pro bono role; no financial compensation will be provided
By becoming part of the SAC, you will join a select group of professionals—including lawyers, accountants, entrepreneurs, and business advisors—dedicated to strengthening the backbone of our economy. Together, we will support the entrepreneurial spirit of the Cayman Islands and help pave the way for economic prosperity.

If you are passionate about giving back to the community, sharing your expertise, and supporting the development of small businesses, we invite you to complete this application. Your commitment will play a pivotal role in creating opportunities for local entrepreneurs and driving meaningful economic growth.

We look forward to reviewing your application to this exciting initiative!
