Registration for What's Next Washington Employers Convening Tuesday, March 3rd, 2020
What's Next Washington (WNW) is a nonprofit organization of formerly incarcerated individuals and allies working to improve the ability of people with conviction histories to reintegrate into society.
Employers have a talent shortage and those with conviction histories need employment. Developed by those directly impacted, the Convening is designed to help employers learn how to tap into this labor pool of talented individuals.
The goals for the event are to:
~ Examine data regarding the actual risks of hiring Formerly Incarcerated Talent (FIT™)
~ Hear from a range of employers about hiring FIT™
~ Surface new ideas about how to bridge the talent shortage/employment need gap
~ Learn about new tools and services employers can use to help them hire FIT™, while maintaining a safe and productive workplace
Who: Human Resource and Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion directors; recruiters; employment counsel
Time: 9:30 am - 2:30 pm
