COLORADO WILD HORSE & BURRO FESTIVAL
This festival will showcase Mustangs and Burros in a combination of several featured events including:
- The Colorado TIP Challenge
- The Multi-State Buckle Series
- The Burro Bonanza

Dates: July 20-21, 2019
Location: Great Escape Mustang Sanctuary - 42132 Ridge Road, Deer Trail, CO 80105
Registration: Preregister by July 15 for 10% off class fees - Same day registration is permitted between 7-8am each day

Classes begin promptly at 8am each day

Classes are $10 each or $100 for unlimited classes

Mustang consignments available for trainers/owners looking to sell/adopt out their Mustangs! TIP Horses welcome.

Divisions
-New Partners-
This division is for those who have adopted their Mustang within the last 12 months. Must indicate adoption date on registration to be eligible for the New Partners division. Any age horse, any age rider.
NOT A Multi-State Buckle Series Eligible Division.

-Burro-
This division is for BLM Burros of any age/skill/handler.
NOT A Multi-State Buckle Series Eligible Division.

-Junior Youth-
An individual who is 12 years old or younger as of January 1, 2019. Lead-line is allowed.
A Multi-State Buckle Series Eligible Division.

-Senior Youth-
An individual who is 13-17 years old as of January 1, 2019.
A Multi-State Buckle Series Eligible Division.

-Novice-
Open to exhibitors who have not engaged in any of the following activities which would make him/her a professional:
1. Accepts remuneration for riding, schooling, driving, showing in halter, training, or conducting clinics or seminars.
2. Accepts remuneration for instructions in equitation or horse training.
3. Has won prizes or money in excess of $10,000.
4. Has won the hi-pt novice horse/rider combination at the Colorado Wild Horse & Burro Festival.
A Multi-State Buckle Series Eligible Division.

-Adult Open-
Open to exhibitors over 18 years of age or older regardless of the ribbons, remuneration previously won, or professional status. There is no qualification required for the rider, driver or handler.
A Multi-State Buckle Series Eligible Division.

Exhibitors may not compete in multiple divisions with the same horse. Exhibitors MAY compete in New Partners with one horse (if eligible) and Novice/Adult Open/Etc with another horse.

Classes counting towards Multi-State Buckle Series points are:
-Hunter Under Saddle
-Western Pleasure
-Trail
-Barrels
-Poles

All classes count towards Colorado Wild Horse & Burro Festival Division High Point Except those indicated with an asterisk.
