The ALDHA-West annual gathering is
September 26-28, 2025 at Cal-Wood Education Center in Jamestown, CO.
A centerpiece of the event is in-person speakers. If you've attended past gatherings, then you know these speakers can be inspirational, motivational, and frankly life-changing.We need your help nominating speakers! We are looking for dynamic storytellers that can inspire and educate our community. Topics can include (but are not limited to) thru-hiking a new long route, trail conservation and advocacy, and new faces and diverse voices that haven't been previously showcased in our community.
Nominations are due April 30th, 2025. The board will review all nominations and vote on the speaker invitations at our board meetings in May and June.

- New Routes: What's beyond National Scenic Trails? We love stories about creating new long routes and rediscovering under-appreciated trails.
- Heroic Stories of Trail Conservation. We love people that are building trails, advocating for trails, and creating community around a shared love for trails.
- New Faces & Diverse Voices that previously haven't been showcased in our community.
