SVI Whistleblower Form

The SVI requires Board of Directors members, officers, other employees and volunteers to observe high standards of business and personal ethics in the conduct of their duties and responsibilities. Employees and representatives of the SVI must practice honesty and integrity in fulfilling their responsibilities and comply with all applicable laws and regulations. 


Each Board Member, volunteer, and employee of the charity has an obligation to report in accordance with this Whistleblower Policy:

  1. questionable or improper accounting or auditing matters, and 

  2. instances where one suspects that employees and representatives of the SVI did not practice honesty and integrity or comply with all applicable laws and regulations. 

The SVI shall take all appropriate steps to prevent retaliation by SVI, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers or agents, against any person submitting a complaint on account of that submission.
