Individual Dates: January 31, February 7, Feb 14, Feb 21, Feb 28, March 7
You will learn to recognize your strengths, needs, and challenges as a caregiver, and take pride in your role. You will examine your emotions and feelings, and find a new perspective on challenging thoughts and response patterns.
Module 2: Managing Your StressYou will learn how stress can lead to burnout, and what you can do to prevent or recover from burnout. We'll explore how to shift our mindset and seek balance in caregiving.
Module 3: Balancing Relationships
You will improve your communication skills, learn to identify what you need, and find ways to ask for help to share the care. You will work on one of caregiver’s hardest hurdles, regaining your identity as a whole person by taking care of yourself first.
Module 4: Navigating the Journey & ClosingIncrease your confidence in accessing services, reflect on your caregiving journey, and plan for the future to avoid the stress of uncertainty.
