Our Vision Build an open Global Commercial UA Remote Pilot Network
Our Mission To keep remote pilots working. To develop disaster response teams To facilitate and promote the growth of small business To solve industry's demand for qualified pilots
Core Values We are dedicated to the safe and ethical use of unmanned aircraft and promoting awareness of legal requirements, rules, regulations and guidance by governmental aviation authorities.
Members must hold a current RPIC certificate issued by a civil aviation authority from an ICAO member state, a few examples include the FAA, CAA, TCCA and CASA, there are many others. ICAO member states ensure that their local civil aviation operations and regulations conform to global norms, which in turn permits more than 100,000 daily flights in aviation’s global network to operate safely and reliably in every region of the world.
Professional pilots by definition are keen on the safe and ethical use of unmanned systems. The companies and agencies that employ us will expect and deserve the same. They will expect us to operate safely and respect civil liberties and individual privacy rights.
You may be selected based on individual qualifications for opportunities by member pilots or associated clients.
As our industry matures, we can expect regulations and standards in training to evolve. As new standards are developed we will be challenged to maintain currency by updating our knowledge, skills and equipment.
As a member of the association you will be informed as new industry standards develop.
You will have access to the entire pilot database, able to communicate directly with the group or individual members. You may communicate directly via email to locate qualified pilots that meet you or your clients specific needs, i.e. location, equipment, waivers etc... You are encouraged to establish communications with member pilots. Remember, keep remote pilots working!
Once membership is approved your contact info (email and name only) will be added to the GRPA Group. We welcome your interest and look forward to speaking with you soon. Thank you
