Hi The Ochre Sky Writing Circle is a joyful, compassionate community of writers who read, write and celebrate together.

We believe that writing and sharing stories from our life is both an ancient and radically contemporary tool for healing. It allows individuals to reclaim their voice, make meaning of chaotic or painful experiences, and connect with others through resonance. The act of articulation turns private burdens into shared truths. The response of a listening community — “I see you, I hear you, I recognise myself in you” — transforms isolation into belonging.

Natasha Badhwar is a writer, teacher and film-maker.

She is the author of My Daughters' Mum and Immortal For A Moment and is visiting faculty at the Media Studies department at Ashoka University.
