We seek to bring together community members and organizations from all over NYC to contribute to and participate in these crucial conversations. Young people are at the heart of social movement and progress, and the country is in urgent need of their participation and leadership to build healthier futures by ending intimate partner violence and sexual assault.
We look for presenters and performers who examine the intersection of intimate partner violence and other identity-based oppressions such as adultism, homophobia, transphobia, racism, ableism, sexism and religious prejudice.
We prioritize proposals that are submitted by young people (ages 24 and under), are inclusive of a youth audience, and accessible to people with formal AND informal education. Youth presenters will receive a gift card for facilitating at the conference. Youth serving professionals are also welcome to apply.
You can go back and edit your proposal after you submit until November 21, 2018. An email with a link will be sent to you after you submit. If you have any issues or concerns, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
