The Future Connections Program is open to students who attend schools in the following school districts:- Berea-Midpark- Cleveland Central Catholic- Cleveland Heights- Cleveland Metropolitan- East Cleveland- Euclid- Lakewood- Lawrence Upper School- Maple Heights- Midview- Montessori High School at University Circle- Shaker Heights- Warrensville HeightsIf you do not see your school district on this list, please contact the Future Connections Program Manager at email@example.com prior to applying.
Students must also submit a recommendation from a teacher, guidance counselor or other school official (such as a coach or mentor) and their official transcripts by the application due date February 8, 2017.
Students who participate in Future Connections and complete all program requirements earn a $1,000 stipend (paid in 4 installments every two weeks during the program) to help cover the costs of participating. Future Connections does not provide transportation or bus tickets and students must secure transportation to and from their assigned placements.
Future Connections will review applications and students who are selected to continue the process will be required to submit a resume at Interview Day on April 5. These students will be also invited to an interview skills and resume writing workshop to take place in March. Dates and locations are to be determined.
