SC: Skilled Trades and Readiness Program (STAR) Construction Industry Interest Form 

The Skilled Trades and Readiness Program is intended for individuals who are interested in starting a career in the construction industry. Entry-level careers in the skilled trades available through the STAR program may include: Carpentry, Drywall, Earthwork, Electrical, General Labor, Mechanical, and Plumbing. This 5-week paid training program also helps you earn certifications that are recognized industry-wide and teaches fundamentals of construction and safety basics.

I commit to read the minimum requirements for program participation and employment which will be provided to me in two (2) business days.

I acknowledge that I must pass a 10-panel drug test as a condition of acceptance into the program, and again upon transition to employment. I also acknowledge that continued employment upon completion of the program is contingent upon a clean drug test.

I acknowledge that I will be subject to a background check prior to enrollment in this program and again upon transition to employment. The background check will search for misdemeanors within 5 years, and felonies within 7 years, and the sexual offenders registry or watch list.
