Please join Senator Shelley Mayer, Assembly Member Chris Burdick, County Legislator Erika Pierce, Pound Ridge Supervisor Kevin Hansan, and the Pound Ridge Volunteer Ambulance Corps on Thursday, February 13 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. for a free community naloxone training to educate participants on how to reverse the effects of an opioid overdose by administering the nasal spray medication known as Naloxone, an opioid antagonist.
Over the course of the training, participants will learn how to identify the signs of an opioid overdose and how to administer naloxone. By the end of the training, all participants will leave with a two-year naloxone certification and a free emergency kit with two doses of naloxone and other safety equipment.
The training will take place at Conant Hall: 257 Westchester Ave., Pound Ridge, NY
